Galmpton is an historic village that nestles between the seaside attractions of Torbay and the tranquility of the Dart Valley. Churston Golf Club is just up the road whilst at the botom of the village is Galmpton Creek on the widest part of the Dart providing tidal moorings, boat storage and a slipway as well as many marine related businesses.

The village is a vibrant community with a broad mix of population. South Devon has always been a favourite location for retirement and Galmpton is no exception. We also have two of the best schools in the area (the village primary and the grammar school) and so the village is popular with younger families. As a result the activities available range from skate-boarding and go-karting to golf and riding together with the traditional beach and boating holidays.

We are fortunate to have a range of small shops (hairdresser, butcher, general store and post office in the centre of the village and a small chandlery on the Creek). We are a short walk away from the excellent Brixham to Torquay bus service and local beaches (of course you may drive and plentiful parking is available).
